Abstract
In this exposition a unified functional/load test architecture is presented, which allows to build load tests based on functional test suites previously developed. A methodology for design of functional and load capable test suites is also discussed. Some questions about load tests execution in TTCN-3 and possible standard extensions derived from our current work in Telefonica R&D are treated too.
