Abstract |
TTCN-3 is used since years in the field of network protocols testing, as the only internationally standardised test notation and provides competitive advantages to testing solutions by being effective efficient, well defined and well documented, and flexible in test setups. While Europe is already embarked to the development of its services and standards amongst other in IPv6, a lot of papers are produced (validated abstract tests suites are available), but no generic free tool is available to implement and support the deployment of the services targeted by the standards. The Go4IT project, gathering organisations from Europe (including Russia), China and South-America) aims to capitalize on the strong know-how in testing methodologies and testing culture in EU, for instance coming from the ETSI Technical Committee MTS (Methods for Tests and Specifications) with the goal to develop an open (TTCN-3) test environment able to execute TTCN-3 test suites coming from independent organisations. This project is opened to new partners through an external valorisation committee. In this presentation, we will present activities to be developed during the 30months of the project: involved partners, foreseen activities and objectives, etc. We will present first results on the analysis of the market needs in term of IPv6 testing, identification of the target protocols and equipments, common architecture definition, etc. Added by: Deleted user Last edited by: Deleted user |
