Abstract
The Go4IT project, gathering organisations from Europe and beyond (including Russia, China and South-America) aims to capitalize on the strong know-how in testing methodologies and testing culture in EU with the goal to develop an open (TTCN-3) test environment able to execute TTCN-3 test suites coming from independent organisations. This Go4IT project presented during the last TTCN3 user conference entered now his second year and already got some interesting results:
● An executable test suite for the IPv6 core protocol is available and can be freely downloaded for execution. This has been presented in the workshop organized by the Go4IT
consortium in Moscow in October 2006.
● First version of a codec generator and some libraries has been successfully used for deriving executable test suites
● Specification and development of other components (like compiler, TM, TM-UI, TL, etc.) have also already started.
In this presentation, we will give more details about these first technical results, dissemination initiatives as well as remaining tasks and the schedule for achieving the initial goal of the Go4IT project targeting an open environment that eases test development using
TTCN3.
